FDIC releases list of banks evaluated for CRA compliance

May 22, 2026

On May 5, the FDIC issued its monthly list of state nonmember banks recently evaluated for compliance with the CRA. The CRA requires the FDIC to assess a bank’s record of meeting the credit needs of its entire community, including low- and moderate-income neighborhoods, consistent with safe and sound operations. The list covers evaluation ratings that the FDIC assigned to 46 institutions in February 2026. Of the banks examined, eight received an “Outstanding” rating and 38 received a “Satisfactory” rating. No institution received a “Needs to Improve” or “Substantial Noncompliance” rating.
