On October 1, the OCC released its CRA performance evaluations for 13 national banks, federal savings associations, and insured federal branches of foreign banks, assessing how well these institutions met the credit needs of their communities, including low- and moderate-income neighborhoods. The evaluations, which were made public between September 1 and September 30, assign ratings of “outstanding,” “satisfactory,” “needs to improve,” or “substantial noncompliance.” Of the institutions evaluated, three received outstanding ratings, while 10 were rated as satisfactory. No institution received a needs to improve or substantial noncompliance rating for this period.
