On September 17, the OCC announced its enforcement actions for the month of September. The agency released two actions, which were both orders of prohibition against institution-affiliated parties (IAPs) at two separate banks. The OCC stated that it uses enforcement actions against IAPs to “deter, encourage correction of, or prevent violations, unsafe or unsound practices, or breaches of fiduciary duty.”
