FDIC issues list of banks examined for CRA compliance

March 20, 2026

On March 5, the FDIC issued its monthly list of state nonmember banks recently evaluated for compliance with the CRA. The CRA requires the FDIC to assess a bank’s record of meeting the credit needs of its entire community, including low- and moderate-income neighborhoods, consistent with safe and sound operations. The list covers evaluation ratings that the FDIC assigned to 59 institutions in December 2025. Of the banks examined, five received an “Outstanding” rating, 52 received a “Satisfactory” rating, and two received a “Needs to Improve” rating. No institution received a “Substantial Noncompliance” rating.
