OCC issues no new enforcement actions against banks in November 2025
On November 20, the OCC announced enforcement actions taken during the month, noting that it issued no actions against banks. The agency reported two orders against individuals, including a prohibition order against a former executive for alleged unauthorized use of the bank’s purchasing cards for personal transactions and submitting deceptive documentation, and a personal cease-and-desist order to another former officer in connection with sales practices misconduct.
The OCC also terminated previous enforcement actions, including a cease-and-desist order against a community bank addressing violations related to the BSA/AML, capital, liquidity risk management, and information technology controls, as well as a formal agreement with a different bank concerning unsafe practices and violations in capital planning, stress testing, strategic planning, and dividend payments.
