Senate Banking Committee Chair Tim Scott issued a statement congratulating Hill on his nomination. Chair Scott praised Hill, noting his efforts to remove reputation risk from bank supervision and to implement policies aimed at ending debanking. The nomination is pending consideration by the Senate Banking Committee.
