On October 9, FinCEN announced it had renewed geographic targeting orders (GTOs) requiring title insurance companies in designated locales to report information on cash residential real estate transactions (previously covered by InfoBytes here). The renewed GTOs maintain the same geographic coverage, reporting thresholds, and requirements as prior orders, and remain effective from October 10, 2025, through February 28, 2026.
