On July 7, the U.S. Treasury Department’s Office of Foreign Assets Control issued Venezuela-related General License (GL) 40A, which authorizes certain transactions involving the exportation or reexportation of liquefied petroleum gas to Venezuela that would otherwise be prohibited by Executive Order (E.O.) 13884, as incorporated into the Venezuela Sanctions Regulations.
